I hesitated even getting on the scale this morning. There’s been no regular exercise in well over a week - unless you count my usual mommy gymnastics. And I’ve been stressed out a whole bunch lately. And when Katie’s stressed, Katie eats. It’s only by the graces of the gods that I don’t have any copious amounts of chocolate in the house, or I’d be up to third trimester weight.
The amazing news is that I somehow lost weight - in fact this morning’s reading was 166! Woohoo! And then I checked myself again just a couple minutes ago to bask in my awesomeness, and now it says I’m 168. Mean. So I’m splitting the difference for today’s weight check and calling it the truth.

Great job. Keep on with gymnastics, walk, think happy thoughts and be consistent and patient with yourself.
Gradually introduce load bearing exercises with free weights.
Weight will come off and you’ll be in the best shape of your life.
Thank you, thank you, Denis. I’ll always take all the support I can get, and I appreciate your kindness.
I actually have started introducing some free weights. And so far my work out routine is still a challenge, so I haven’t stepped it up yet. But hopefully some day!
The trick is actually sticking with it. I’m terrible at making excuses not to work out.
Thanks again, Denis!
